CONSTRUCTION
Stillages
 |
Stillages are manufactured to OEM specification, and
are manufactured in a variety of sizes, or can be tailored to
customers individual requirements. The systems can be fitted
with either a fixed textile pigeonhole insert or a
suspended sliding hammock system.
They are be
supplied with a roller blind or velcroed PVC curtain cover for
added protection. |
Textile Inserts are constructed of PVC with
edge beading to horizontal shelves for added strength. These
are then fitted to cleats in the stillage to form a bank of
suspended pockets.
Hammock
Inserts are constructed of a PVC or
netted
material, fitted with PVC rods
to the stillage to form a bank of sliding
compartments.

a free standing Insert constructed of Tyvek Paper, with
PVC board incorporated to add support. This is
designed to insert into a box system, and to fold down when
not in use.
We have
in-house design engineers available to design the optimum
system and materials to be utilised based on the size, shape
and finish of components.
| MATERIALS
We use a wide range
of materials, and will generally supply a design in the material
best suited to use.
PVC is our most widely used material. It is durable,
flexible and adapts well to most forms of insert.
Netted material is generally used in the hammock
systems to reduce contamination by allowing particles to release
from the pocket.
Tyvek material produced exclusively by DuPont, is used
to line Inserts on any side to give added
protection.
Velcro is used on stillage curtains to seal entries in
order to reduce contamination and stabilise components.
We
also install foam padding or additional support should the part
demand it.
